Acts can perform either covers or original material throughout the competition. Open Mic UK offers entrants not only the chance to win prizes, but the opportunity to perform live in some of the best music venues in the country and the Grand Final is set to take place in the O2 in London! There will be �50,000 worth of prizes up for grabs and the winning act will not only be crowned the Best On The Mic in front of a packed out crowd at the O2 in London, they will also be offered a recording contract to release their single.
